By now, u wld have prolly heard of the arrest of Capt. Mike Mukula and Alex K. and the narrow escape of Jim Muhwezi. Where as i am inclined to agree with those who think this was just a stunt to bring the attention of the world to the fact that Uganda is actively fighting corruption, i have glad to announce that i have gotten someone new to admire.

Alice Kaboyo. I know next to nothing about this lady, only that i take off me hat to this lady, all that money and u werent caught??? You take the place of my former hero, an officer in one of our prestigious Bank in Kampala who made off with abt 800,000 ds over a yr and the Bank cldnt touch her, imagine that!

But kidding aside, and i know the mentality in Ug is "You aint a thief till you get caught" but my question for the day is "Where was our vigilant Inspector of Government when this was happening?"

((By the by, think they shd let the Capt. go...his sum is paltry!))

By the time a person even hits the 10M mark, and im being generous, that's a red flag! 700M is just ludicrus.
What this could mean is our "flagship bearer" either did not see the signs as early as 2005 or just ignored the signs which brings other questions into play. Like, are we sure the IG is not corrupt? OKay, thats kinda asking if the pope is white but still, i believe in the office!

If the iGG cant do anything in time, these are just signs that our system as usual is messed up!!

And then we had Jim and Alice doing a keyser Soze on us. Realistically, if this was not a spur of the moment arrest scenario, Intelligence agencies should have known that these money happy personalities were not in the country to begin with.

While this makes the Intelligence of this country look slopy, it also discredits the view that this is Govt finally following up on corruption. Jim M. has been in sooo many squirmishes before that i think i should write a song about him, kinda like those village songs about brave warriors who survive each war, lol.

It has been rumoured for so long that Jim is actually the Presidents No.2.. unless he comes back pretty soon and does infact pay back or alocate responsibility or by some Houdini act escape prison, i think we can safely say this particular rumour would be proved somewhat true. No. 2 may be pushing things a bit, but what the heck? we shall stick to no. 2

By the by, just thought abt this...Are those pople safe behind bars? With poisoning high on the list of Assasination, will we actually see them brought to Justice? I would suggest a safe house but...we myt never see them again and we dont want that to happen, do we?

*** Just found out that my hero voluntarily turned herself in. Hmmmm....
